Welcome to CluedUp. This is where it all starts. We are putting together this website as a place where people can find out what’s going on, link to resources, meet-up and get a sense of what’s working with the programme. We want to capture what we are learning, what you think, and who is involved. Be patient as the website evolves, and do let us know what you think along the way.

What is CluedUp?
CluedUp is an exciting new sex and relationship programme for young women aged 16-19 that is being piloted across three London Boroughs. The 9 session programme has been developed by Living Well Youth Services and is being piloted in Wandsworth, Lambeth and Southwark as part of a project funded by the London Sexual Health Programme’s Improving Access to Contraception Initiative.

CluedUp is about empowerment. It’s about enabling young women to make better informed decisions. It’s about increasing sexual health and contraception knowledge, increasing confidence and self-management skills. It’s about reducing the number of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and the number of unwanted pregnancies. But most importantly, it’s about connecting a network of people together that can listen, help and support young women.

As a holistic ‘Life Skills and Sexual Health’ programme, the young women who participate will receive individually tailored support, information and advice on all aspects of their physical and emotional health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on sexual health.

Where to get CluedUp?
CluedUp is being piloted in Wandsworth, Lambeth and Southwark with around 15-20 young women being recruited to participate in the programme from each borough. Each session in the series of 9 interactive workshops will be co-led by professionals and young women who are learning to become facilitators as part of the project. The programme will be expansive, fun and full of fast-moving conversation around information, with everything related back in a meaningful way to real-life situations.
